The ASCEND Design and Development Process

At ASCEND, it’s vital for me to understand your unique professional development challenges and opportunities before trying to sell you a model or a program. The typical process looks like this:

Step 1:

We’ll meet to get to know the performance needs and gaps at all levels of your organization.  We’ll talk a little about the scope of the relationship and determine if I can add value to your overall goals, your mission, and your culture.

Discovery Meeting

Step 2:

Establish Mutually Agreed Upon Goals

Before proceeding, we'll establish collaborative goals. You know what you want it to look like when we’re successful.  I know what it takes to get you there.

Step 3:

Design and Development

Once the goals are in place, I’ll design the plan

Step 4:

I'll present my design, based on the discovery and goals established earlier. This is the time for review and revision, adaptation and adoption.  Collectively, we will decide upon the final plan.

Collaborative Review

Step 5:

If we decide to move forward, I’ll create a proposal, complete with timeline for delivery.  At this point, you will be provided with the final project costs and project deliverables.

Define the Engagement

Step 6:

Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll sign the contract, set a start date, and begin working to help you achieve your goals.
